Apparently we just had too much. Too much light, too much noise and distractions. The cities never sleep, night is not really night, as long as there are lights all around us, making the night as bright as day. So they say this has a strange effect on us, because we don’t see the world around us like we are supposed to. We forget how big the Universe is, we forget how many stars there are on the sky and how small we really are, how fragile. Admiring the billions of stars in a clear sky, on a dark night, gives you that sense of reality which we start to lose nowadays. And I think I agree, partly. Why? Because I had the chance to see the amazing night sky, during my childhood, when I lived at countryside, every summer vacation, with my grandparents…and if I could have this sky everyday of my life, I would name myself lucky and I would sleep with the window wide open all summer long, no matter what…
And the noise…this is really a problem in the big cities, I think. We are never really in a dark, quiet world. Sometimes I think this is normal, and I don’t miss being in a quiet environment, but maybe it’s hard to decide what is good and wrong when you don’t have a choice. So this nice video makes some interesting statements and highlights some ideas which I think are awesome, but hard to make true, unfortunately..
I now officially believe that Japanese people can do anything and I mean anything! They can invent the weirdest things and the latest complicated technology, they can be ninja’s and manga fans at the same time! Really, anything! They can even slow-dance in the airport and no one even wonders why anymore. It’s just normal already. That’s why I love them so much. They can do anything and people don’t judge them anymore, because they are Asians, so it’s normal to be weird. Lovely! 
In case you were wondering, here is the answer: Barcelona is big! Actually, I am not sure it ends somewhere…it just continues with more and more Barcelona!

Ok, so after the video with the “nice” cars running over that poor guy, I was lucky enough to find this next video, just perfect to improve my karma and get me some pleasant dreams. I must confess I am extremely impressed by the editing of the video. I could have never – not in 10 hours of flight – be able to gather so many nice images and link them in such a natural way as to tell a story. Come on, the girl just sits in her chair, how can these simple images say so much?? Beautiful!

Well, I have to admit, one of my favorite things to do during the winter holidays is……tanananaaa, changing my wallpaper on my desktop! Ok, so this is just a bit lame, but you have to admit, a good wallpaper has the power to put you in a great mood first thing when you open your computer…just like a good, tasty coffee in the morning. I don’t drink coffee (not completely true!), so this wallpaper thingy is my morning mood setter.
Until now, every wallpaper was just perfect for my old-fashioned, old-everything computer. But things have to evolve, change and get complicated, so I bought a new laptop, with a much wider screen. Obviously, now I have to pay extra attention to how I fit, change, modify my old, beloved wallpapers (yes, I use the same wallpapers over and over again for a few years now – yeah, it’s like my special computer tradition.. )
Anyway, here it is, my most favorite Christmas wallpaper, the one that best describes my mood during this period! I hope your Christmas was great too and filled with joy and awesome things!

Ok, so I’ve got this new idea for my lucky blog. As I have a lot of free time on my hands, I often stumble upon great music bands that I’ve never heard before or old music that I forgot about or just awesome songs that I like no matter the reason. I enjoy different kinds of music, so I will post very diverse songs that I find interesting. I really like discovering great bands with new sounds and interesting visions about music in my quest to expand my listening horizons, so I thought it would be nice to share them with you. It would be awesome to get feedback from you, especially if it consists of new music bands or any songs suggestions. That would be great!
